At North Perimeter Construction Ltd., safety is taken very seriously. The personal health, safety, well-being and the right of every employee of our company to work in a safe and healthy work environment is considered to be one of our most important responsibilities and as such is an area of major concern to senior management. 

We sincerely believe that good safety performance is one of the leading indicators of a well-managed, efficient and profitable operation.  Our safety objective must be an honest zero incident frequency rate on a continuing basis for each and every employee.

In working towards achieving this goal our everyday attitudes must never reflect the misconception that incidents are an acceptable, unavoidable consequence of doing business.  We realize that incident prevention is a shared responsibility and in order to achieve our goal all employees must work together to identify, eliminate and control the hazards present in our work environment.
We monitor on site to ensure our employees and all owners, consultants, contractors and sub contractors work and follow our high standards of health and safety.

In pursuit of this goal, North Perimeter Construction Ltd.’s Corporate Health And Safety Policy includes:

• Providing and maintaining site and equipment to acceptable standards
• Shutting down a site if safety is being compromised
• Developing Safe Work Procedures and provide adequate training and supervision
• Making available Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and devices to help protect employees against particular hazards and to ensure it is utilized

• Providing employee training in WHMIS, fall arrest, scaffold erection, manlifts, Hilti Tools
• Holding Mandatory Subtrade and supplier project site safety orientations
• Holding Safety meetings with management, safety reps and employees
• Holding Weekly on site toolbox talks including minutes for all Subtrades and our employees
• Holding Semi Annual all-employee Safety Meetings
• Holding Bi-Weekly site safety inspections and monthly inspections by our Safety Officer or Management
• Networking with other contractors, subcontractors and clients regarding safety
